About the Freelancer Business Toolkit

The Freelancer Business Toolkit is a set of free, practical tools for freelancers and solopreneurs — built to help with the unglamorous parts of running an independent business: pricing your work, tracking your time, invoicing clients, and putting together proposals.

Most freelance business software is built for agencies or teams, priced accordingly, and bundled with features a single-person business doesn't need. This site takes a narrower approach: a small set of focused tools, free to use, with no account required to get a result.

The toolkit is being built in phases. Early phases focus on the design, structure and content of the site; calculators and generators are being added in the phases that follow. Pages that describe a tool as “coming soon” mean exactly that — it isn't built yet, and we'd rather say so than leave you guessing.
